Protein Skimmer-Type : 150-F2001

pump: Aqua Bee 2001/38W

height: 510 mm

surface: 340 mm x 140 mm

skimmer body: 150 mm

output pipe: 40 mm

min.water level: 100 mm

max.size of the tank: 850 Litres

H&S website: http://www.hs-aquaristik.de/

going for $650 used it for about 4months only! got it somewhere end of march at $787 that time.

still quite new no crack no scratches or stain did regular cleaning.come with box too!

Anyway, juz now :off:

So, to lend my bro a hand, if theres anyone out there still tinking about this skimmer, better grab it!!! I'm using one myself ( Check my signature ) And I must say the performance is fantastic! Used to tink dat by having maybe 2 Weipro 2012s, I can out perform an H&S priced at $600-700, but after I got this unit den I realise how silly I was! :P

This skimmer is the only reason why I dare to over-stock my tank a little, with my kind of bioload with the amount of LS, my parameters are :

Amm : 0

No2 : 0

No3 : 3ppm

The skimmer helps to remove the DOC even before the nitrogen cycle can start! ( Amm--->No2--->No3 )

So, my advice, if you got high mortality ( death ) rates in the fishes you buy, better upgrade ur skimmer... :)

Sorry to hear that bro. Looks like no one knows how to appreciate a fine product. This is a great product that save money in the long run.

Just like what reef2 said, I'm running 2 skimmers now. Eventhough I'm running the dual beckett, if I turn my H&S higher, I can still get some skimmate on it. So it is double protection for me. The dual beckett will skim before water enter the sump, and the H&S will skim before the water return to the main tank.
