my adult emperor fish died

last week i bought a emperor. it begin to stablize a few days ago after suffer from ich..but last night i notice that my fish breath heavily n lost its coloration which turn white...when i wake up ..its dies :cry: well its the not first time my fish dies in such a manner..from 8 fish left to 2 fish only cleaner wrasse n damsel..cleaner wrasse was with me for the past year now..does anyboby whats wrong? :( its been bothering for the past many days.....pls i need yur advise :bow:
