What worms are these?

Found them in a pair and creeping out from the same rock? Are they safe and should I remove them?

removed the rock which they are in... soaked in tap water but they won't get out... how?

wat i do is jet the live rock with tap....aim especially at the holes.

then soak in tap for 5 mins.

they don't come out nvm....u just put in the tank....after awhile u see all of them popping out from the rocks....then u use sth to pull them out...be careful not to break them or else the other half that remains will just grow into another worm....sometimes the more curious fishes like damsels will pull them out and try to eat them

My boxer shrimp ate one. Came home one day and saw it holding one in its pincers. Then it started to eat the bristle worm.

On another occassion, I used a plastic (takeaway) container and try to catch it. It tried wriggling out of the container, kinda succeeded cos half of its body was out of the container. I was stuck cos can't scoop it out and dun wanna let it back in. Think it was hurt so I let it drop back in and promptly took a pair of chopsticks and took the worm out.

hmmm.... but care to explain how come my sand sifter starfish could have disappeared to? cos was shifting my entire tank and could not find both of then....

its probably under the sand

it could be due to the fact that it was dead/dying and the worms just took advantage of the fact that it was dying. (=

well... i shifted my entire tank (sand and everything)... and only found monsterous worms....
