Just bought the 2 stripey. Picked them up around 7 & when I got home (around 2 hours later) both fish were dead.
Any comments from other people in this forum

You checked their condition when collecting? 2 hrs in a closed bag?

Imo, two hours in a bag is way too long unless they are packed with compressed oxygen similar from the aquatic shop.

Depends the size of bag and how is being handled (left under shaded or aircon or under hot sun)

Its always good tp collect rhe fishes and go so straight back home to aclimatised the fishes

moreover 2 fishes sharing the same bag

 

 

better to use a portable air pump and best to return home within an hour 

 

if no pump , at least to open the bag during the journey back home
