my tank is only 1 month.... :cry2:

Lee,

seems like u wanna keep everything...

seahorses,SPS,

u happen to remember that ur tank is only 1 mth old?

seahorses are picky eaters n much time & $ has to be spent on to get them to start eating in captivity. even so it does not guarantee that they won't die.

SPS - need i say more when u dun even wanna spent on(or cannot afford) testkits?

Keeping SH in the reef tank is not advisable althougth I used to do that but you readi need a lot of time keeping a eye on them on feeding and worrying ###### into power head etc.. Anyway, before you dive into SH world, try to take some time to read the following website so to have a basic understanding for their world:

http://www.seahorses.de/seahorses.htm

thanks ong.........BTW is $2k enough to buy chiller,fans,mh,sps,sump,pumps,auto top up system,test kits,chemicals needed and seahorses???i wonder.......... :cry2:

i strongly think 2k wont be enough if u plan to start anything 3ft and above ...

ur SPS corals would cost u more then 500$ if u wish to stock them up ...

Test kits alone maybe 200$ ...

Unless u get 2nd hand stuff and DIY the rest urself ..

u should also read up more about seahorses rather then just asking ... :)

he thinks his 2K is very big and just wanst to have the best of all world.

lol ~ 2k is good if he only wants to setup a nano tank like danano ..

But without any live stock :)

2nd chiller would be about 300 to 400 for only 1/8 or 1/4

MH light even if u diy would cost about 200 ..

But i dont think seahorse would love to be in a sps tank .. due to the currents..
