cleaner shrimps and RBTA

I tried to feed my RBTA just now, after realising that I've not fed it in a while.

the dumb cleaner shrimp will just happily go and pluck out the prawn meat, whilst the anemone is trying to ingest it.

1) will this cause any harm to the anemone? the plucking out action that is

2) doesn't the anemone sting the living crap out of the prawn?

3) any suggestions to prevent this from happening? feeding the shrimps prior to that wouldn't work as they are the greediest bunch of shrimps ever.

that's the very reason why I got rid of all my scarlet cleaner shrimps, and went for glass shrimp instead. The same function, but much less irritating. Used to do what hamannbmw did ... stood with a stick when I fed my anemones (those things can even climb into tube anemones to get at food!) and lobos.

Or just get a carpet anemone and teach them a lesson ... once and for all.:evil:
