absolutely possible. the crowd is very bad during the morning/evening when ppl go to/off work. esp for train services serving within tokyo itself. *mutters*.........

well, at least its not like certain parts of india where the train comes every 5 hours and by the time the train moves off, ppl are practically spilling out of the train! holding onto the rails with their fingernails all..

when i was there, the policeman will hurry the japs to cross the road, rush pple into train etc. they are like herding sheep... funnie but true.

It's true. It happens in Japan. Thankfully, I took the trains in Tokyo mostly during offpeak timings... so I don't get 'sandwiched' like this!
