Hi,

I bought an eel from another SRC member recently. Instead of feeding eels with prawn, I found a more economical substitute in supermarket.

The ikan bilis is white in colour and average around 1 cm in lenght. Can I also use them to feed my brain ?

have not tried yet, dun want to cause any indigestion. please advise

thanks :)

joey.

Isn't ikan billis very salty?

I believe what joeyttk had is the fresh type.

I have used those to feed my anemone, bubbles and sun corals etc. No problem, I just break it to smaller portion before feeding corals.

:) Greeting :)

do u mean silverfish?

sodium levels very high

As I said earlier, it's the fresh type not the dried ones. Normally, I get it from supermarket, 100g lasts a long time.

i still think you meant fresh silverfish?

silverfish or ikan billis all come from the sea. As long as they are fresh not dried, the sodium level should be acceptable and can be used.
