May I know which one went into the tank 1st - the volitan or the goby? So far all my casualities were introduced AFTER the lion. I am not sure if there is any relationship on sequence of introduction, but I guess it may improve the survivality of the potential "prey".

u r really right bro jc85........

u should know tat it will attack any fish tat its mouth can take.............

and aware tat the fins are poison even if human hand rub on it will get the deadly sting too......

so if u wanna continue lion think all ur fish must be very big ...........

anyway lion are tempting fish..........

make sure in future think twice abt keeping predators in ur tank............

:D

C heng a not. Some is not so violent n some is.. I saw one at reef aquarium inside his show tank n inside got a lot of small fish but the lion did not disturb... quite shock oso..

You cannot make this assumption as you are not there all the time, it may have consumed fishes that you are not aware of.

IMO one should already know that you should not add any predatory fish into the tank.... volitan will eat anything that can feed into its mouth and goby are no no... even if your goby dun get eaten now, when the volitan grow it will still be eaten.... Read up more ;););) Oh ya another reason why you should nto add any lion is becos a reef tank, you have to do many things be it scaping, arranging of stuff or picking up fallen corals... thus if is very risky to put your hands in if you have a volitan.. IMO a hazard
