SRC Member Chris Posted March 15, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted March 15, 2005 It took my fish just 1 year to grow from 5 cm to 40 cm in a 4 ft tank. Then less than a year in the pond to grow to 80cm, longer than the biggest Koi. It swallowed a 20-30cm Koi, with the tail sticking out from its mouth. So it went into a large lake. If it's still alive now (2 years from the release), it could be 1.2-1.5 metres long!! Anyway, it was a really beautiful fish. I could play with it with my hands inthe pond. It eats everything from shrimps to small fish to Koi! Quote I think (marine) therefore I am

It is one of the gem ard.....if you are a trigger lover. I am....and my wife is a big fan as well. There a reefers here who go crazy over fishes less than an inch size..Each his own. I still like the red box fish from GBR that someone posted many months back. Quote I think (marine) therefore I am
