no it cant,if u want i can help u do it to the lenght u want it to

nigel, that particular joint of your pipe glued already i presume. i think can just undo the glue(possible?) and then add another length of pipe inbetween. If not i can ask my friend if he wants ur pipe, but his also got euro bracing but he may decide to put it in and area not affected by it.
