IMHO, whether or not mandarins fight is highly dependent on the fishes' personality. It is not advised to have more than 1 mandarin in a small tank. My spotted mandarin chased my green mandarin to death, even though the former was smaller and introduced into the tank later than the latter. However, it did not disturb my scooter dragonet at all. :eyebrow:

Perhaps it is safer to identify the mandarins upfront before buying them, and subsequently introduce all of them into the tank simultaneously. Hopefully this can reduce the chances of casualty occurance.

So, the bottom line to your question - Good luck!:evil:

Wah Volitan ~~ but still :thanks: to u and Lin. I been observing my 2 green mandarin and I saw my bigger mandarin suck on to the smaller one using it mouth just like bite...but it is so funny to see them swim together with one ###### on to the other... then later on they swap places the smaller one suck it back while the bigger one just swim around not sure is that a fight but I realized that both of them now swim together  ~~ Can someone tell me are they mating lolz
