Do you have a photo to share?? =) Awaiting your masterpiece to be ready!!! Hi icecold, Thanks for your kind words! Contact me if you have any questions regarding your renos and stuff. Already thought of the issue of chiller servicing. The aircon compressors are at the further end of the aircon ledge so servicing the chiller, which would be mounted just outside the window, would just be a matter of climbing out the window onto the ledge. I live on the 2nd floor so not scary at all. There's still a fair bit of space for me to stand and even to move over to the aircon compressors should I need to. Will post a pic soon to indicate. Yes, wife's very supportive and I'm very blessed. She's a diver too and loves the ocean. Took a bit of time to convince her about responsible reefing though and at the end she agreed. Just as long as I budget my money appropriately and keep the tank nice and clean. In fact, she was the one who said a divider tank would look nice in the house! Quote 48x30x27' Tank. Beckett Skimmer. SRC Member djviper Posted July 1, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted July 1, 2005 ah marine tank is a v.expensive and time consuming hobby.... me spent over 10k on my tank liao lol sad to say .. i agree with Eric ur piping a bit unstable there any leaks?
SRC Member daimy068 Posted July 1, 2005 Author SRC Member Share Posted July 1, 2005 No leaks so far. The pipes are actually held onto the false wall with brackets so as to minimise vibrations due to flow. Might add more brackets to ensure that they're more stable. Thanks Eric and djviper!
