Hi acidjazz,

Just a small setback...don't be too disheartened. ;)

Think of it this way, you've got all the space in the tank to work with. When I had to enlarge the hole in my OVERFLOW-BOX, had only abt 5"plus width to work with...and had to do balancing act on a stool in the tiny equipment area beside my tank. You can imagine the frustration and back-ache! :pinch::P Spent abt 3hrs just to remove the existing pipe, scrape the silicon and enlarge (grind) the hole by 5mm all around (10mm altogether) :ooh:

Just think abt the beautiful set-up you're gonna achieve. ;)

Hey Paul, just a consider on my part. That overflow pipe eh? i think you either use pieces of glass and seal around it or i think it may break if you accidentally knock against it or your LRs lean on it.

Just my 2 cents =)

hey bro, you are right. Some reefers did warn me about this before. :)

you sure "chop" my pratas first. Anyway this reefer is selling his 4x2.5x2.5 ft tank with 3x250watt mh at a good price, worth considering.

Will do a leak test tonight and finish up the left over pipings to the sump. If possible, will fire up the skimmer and show you some pictures.
