algae grow on skeleton

i have a montipora fall down n STN few parts, currently the STN is stop, but algae started to grow at those "botak" area. anywhere to remove it? or is tat any side effect?

As long as your water parameters are good, the monti will still continue to recover and grow

IMO, montiporas are super hardy SPS

take the SPS out, clean out as much algae as u can with a toothbrush, then layer the skeleton with superglue?

I tried it before when I was keeping a few colonies... i think it worked to some extent...
