very interesting...how small is the skimmer though? cardinal, personally i think the loading is pretty maxed already for the 1.2...you're running HOB right? i currently run my 14 inch tank with just a HOB too....i think i calclated about 9 gallons, but using more livestock filtration than anything, i wash the filter pads pretty often....using my eheim liberty just as a mech filter. how's your water change regime gonna be?

btw i'm only having 2 false percs :P might possibly add 1 star fish and 1 shrimp lol

Guess it's about 6.5" high and 2" diameter.

Thank you all for your feedback. One thing I'm really amazed is that I've not done a water change for 2 months and my tank is running without a skimmer... Everything seems fine! :shock:

Currently too busy argh... exams are next week.... Anyway I've been feeding my fishes once every 2 days with bits of flakes or frozen bloodworm. Will update more, stay tuned...
