i'm thinking of giving my reeftank some trace elements ,as i dont really change water that much , about 3-4 weeks 10% water change.

i'm wondering if salifert ALL-IN-ONE will provide sufficient trace elements for my tank ?

my tank majority consists of rhodactics & yumas (80% of soft) , and about 20% of hard corals.

please advice.

thanks

bascially what i can measure is kH, pH, Ca, NO2 and NO3. That's it. the rest i dont have the test kits.

i'm also afraid of overdose. so for safe, i just dose half of what the instructions said, and split it into 2 times , instead of dosing all at one go.

I KNOW OF A REEFER WHO DOESNT CHANGE WATER FOR 3 YEAR... JUST TOP AND AND ADD TRACE ELEMENTS... HE IS KEEPING LPS ....

this is possible...but the condition of the tank muz be quite dirty rite??....

jus regular top up of trace elements can replace the need of changing water...

but alot of other reefers lyk me still prefer to change 10-20% of water once in a while...

:D

clean..got clean with magnet and scraper loh.. :)

btw... he got less than 10 nitrate..

1) Good skimmer

2) Good denitrator

3) Ozone

as for the trace elements.. just additives and cR
