Sounds like an overkill. Too many LS in a week.

Good idea is add in a new fish per week.

But then again, if your fishes manage to survive. Good for you.

Feel that it is always a lesson learnt best when the fish die and the reefer learns it the hard way.

No offense. ;)

Tried introducing fish one at a time...i.e. i buy only 1-2 fishes everytime i visit a LFS.

But every intro is a disaster, the newie will get harassed and killed by other older resident fishes. : (

Any advice from the old birds??

Erm, that seldom happens to my new LS, what kind of fish do you normally buy and gets killed? Maybe you could list out what your current LS are and what normally gets killed when you introduce them to the tank.

l've added goby and blenny in my office tank...but got killed the next day.

i suspect must be those huge damsels, a electric blue and a black damsel (sori, dunno their names). Besides damsels, the other two are a yellow tang and coral beauty.

but so difficult to remove them, always hide in LR when i lowered the net.. : (

hi underwater,

maybe u would like to remove the damsel since you just started up. Or maybe u can setup traps to trap them. They are fast movers. Maybe u can do a serach on the archeives to see how other reefers trap their unwanted fishes.

I done mine thru uses trap.

reef onz...and hope these helps! :D

If your tank is pretty small, i'll suggest removing all the LRs and fish the damsels out. You coulkd of course try the fish trap 1st and see if they fall for it....gd luck!~

The problem is tt i'm no longer working in that company...cannot go and revamp the office tank liao. But fish trap is worth trying, i'll tell my ex-colleague to try that.

The lesson is next time when i set up my own tank, i'm not going to buy any damsels.
