I got a shock when i see it..

Tot my eyes playing a trick on me.. A crab this big in my tank?

Okay, it's not as big as the crab we eat at hawker.. but it's so much bigger than the normal hairy crab and it's reddish in colour.

It looks dangerous to my fishes and i took it out.

Wah.. scare-ed by it.

I bought a big LR the other day, and prob came from there. Cos i m sure my tank is free from 'big crab' b4 that

Very shocking indeed? Have you gotten rid of it? If not, can take a top view so that we can see it more clearly? How old is your tank & LR?

I have disposed of it already and don't have other pictures to illustrate its size..

Guess it was hiding in the big LR during transportation.

My current tank is ~9 mths old and the LR is only 2 days old..

anyway, do u QT live rock before adding to tank. I'm not talking abt the cycling phrase. more like if ya need addition live rocks after few months.

I don't.. i rinse them and add the LR into my tank directly.

lol since you paid for the weight of the crab why not try and cook.

you should fresh water dip and see how much crap runs outta the rocks. got losta works and stuff too. but its good to remove em.

don't worry about the fresh water dip, just cycle the rocks in ur tank for a couple of weeks and they'll be ready to go
