LR getting rusty

Hi,

anyone got any experience on LR getting rusty colour? Kinda rusty brown colour on some of the LR.

Plus my bubble doesn't seem to open up to its max anymore. Advise pls. I have just change about 20% of the water lately... Fishes are fine....

maybe u can tell us your water parameter ?

2x1.5x1.5 tank

Lighting: AI hydra 52HD

Skimmer: Deltec SC 1455

Reactor: Minimax; rowaphos

Skimz  ; NP biopellets

Wave Maker: MP 40 WQD

Return pump: Eheim 1262

Chiller: Arctica 1/10 hp

if urs is a new tank then most likely suffering from diatoms(brown algae), i experience b4 "new tank syndrome" most likely due to high phosphate levels. if indeed the problem is diatoms then cleaning crew such as turbo snail will help...

what water are u using for your water change ? sea water ? if mixing salt then are you using ro/di ? or tap water ?

water parameters like po4 and nitrate would help ...

Thanks for all your advise. Don't have digital Camera. But will try if i can find one. But i guess, is the water i change also. I use tap water to mix the salt but i use a pump to pump it for a few days at least. Does it help? Will try to change the water more often and see if it help.. Thanks for all your advises.
