Hehe.. are scooters expensive in Singapore? Ok i know scooters are like wussies (no offence to anyone here) to bikers.. but its damn cute.. especially when all decals and vinyls piak piak piak over it.

As long as it can bring you from 1 point to another even if ah pek bike also bike.

Scooters (Vespa) are like Beetle (Volkswagon) very special. But scooter cheaper of course

You must have passion for it just like passion for marine than should go for it, and not just because you wanna join her to impress her

Taking up riding licence is like marine. You need to upgrade 2 more times before you stop. :D

I use to ride a honda nsr150sp but after getting sick and tired going in and out of hospital 4 times and traffic police stopping me decide to scrap my old bike due to my last accident. Luckily only got abrasion. My nsr serve me well for 8 years so sad to part with it but have to let go as it is beyond economical repair. Now got X8, only thing that I can tell you it is a smooth ride baby. Fuel consumption wise so far estimated 12 litres is able to travel for 325 km.

tinking of getting a scrambler

Congrats man. Get a 2nd hand one first as its always cheaper. Around 3-4 k should be able get you a yamaha WR200 that still have about 2-3 years before scrap or get those COE renewed ones. Can try Dirt Wheel or try some local bike forum to look for one.

You can try those bike shop at Eunos which is just behind your block :P

Did the shop buy in your steed? Ususaly bikeshop would renew the COE and than overhaul the bike and resell them. Can resale them between 4-5k.
