Prata, Cynarina and blasto all belong to the same family. . they dun sting one another.

i have problem with both prata and cynarina

if i put prata and cynarina and higher height, it will close

med and low height also close.

but if i put inside a plastic container, and shift to one side with also less light but at higher height, both prata and cynarina grow bigger.

i still can't figure out what there want.

the container is still inside fish tanks, so i don't think water parameter got problem

Hmm if like half of a cynarina was covered by another one, but half of it still receive light, the half that don't receive light will bleach? Or the other half that receive nutrients will be able to supply good source of food for the whole cynarina?

You're right on this. Acans have the ability to sting other corals.

letdoit: I find pratas & cynarinas do better on the sandbed where you give them enough space to expand. I would not suggest placing them at greater heights, nearer to MH lights. If I am not mistaken, they do not like intense lighting.

i think it may be your tank temperature or your water condition...

my prata and cynarina no problem at any place...
