SRC Member iceman Posted December 29, 2008 Author SRC Member Share Posted December 29, 2008 The new setting of the sump tank. The reason of changing the sump tank is to have a larger water volume, easy maintaince and to have most of the equipment insump. So now I don need to worry about leaks when I went oversea. The size is 44" x 24" x 16". This is a open concept sump with only 2 compartment. The DIY overflow box. This box is hang at the side of the sump to save space and prevent splashes. Under the box is the chiller coil. Quote My Decom Tank

SRC Member iceman Posted December 29, 2008 Author SRC Member Share Posted December 29, 2008 Next is the return pump. Have change to the new Red Dragon II. Reason of changing the pump is to reduce the number of pump in the sump. Currently there are only 2 pump in my sump, the return and the skimmer pump. Have tee off the pump to all my FR.
