a little help with my nano tank

hi... i juz bought these live rocks last week... was wondering wat are all those things on them...

are they algae or wat? is it normal n i can juz leave it there? or do i have to remove them?

appreciate any advice..thks...

Hi bro,

If I were you, I will remove them. The green stuffs could be bryopsis (nuisance algae). The white thing is a tunicate, may not suvive the cycling period thus adviseable to remove.

first pic is some macroalgae, harmless unless they turn white and die.. if u dun like it remove it..

second pic looks like a tunicate or some sponge to me..

cheers.. :)

advisable to cure the rocks first and do the necessary 'touching up' before putting in main tank..
