Dear All

After more than 3 years into the hobby with a FOWLR setup, I have decided to post my tank setup now as I have managed to convert my FOWLR into a mainly LPS tank.

As most of you would have known, Atlantis tanks are made without a sump. I don't know if they have incorporated sump design in their latest setups now but nevertheless, I am still considered quite lucky to be able to find a way to fit in a Deltec 1250 turbo skimmer which imo is the most important piece of equipment in a marine tank.

The following are the features of the tank and equipment list:

Tank: Divider 4.5ft (L) x 1.5ft (B) x 2.25ft (H) IOS (sumpless)

Return Pump from IO: Sicce Extrema pump (not too sure of flowrate as it was originally provided by Atlantis)

Chiller: Artica 1/10 hp with Aquabee 2000 as feeding pump

Wavemaker: Tunze 6060

Skimmer: Deltec turbo 1250

Lights: 4 tubes 3ft DE T5 HO

FR: Skimz customised 2.3ft ht (have not added yet as still have not purchased feed pump)

Very simple setup with basic equipment which are necessary but I hope I can be successful

I will start the ball rolling with some pics of the current LS I have.

Just posted.

By the way, I am using partial LR from my FOWLR and some GO replica rocks.

The scaping is very tough as my tank is only 1.5ft wide..
