Labropsis Xanthonota (Comet wrasse, Yellowback tubelip)

Very rare yellowback tubelip pair in Japan.

Note: Tubelip wrasse natural diet is coral polyps ONLY. As such it is an extremely difficult fish to keep alive in our tank. Females are common in the wild whereas males are much rarer.

What type of polyps do they feed on? Zoas & Palys? They might be the answer to dealing with palytoxin.
