Erm... when we say "FTS", it means "Full Tank Shot". Its a photo taken of the whole of your tank, mostly front view of display.

L.K.Y. is a pioneer political leader in Singapore... you should be able to figure it out by now, if you're a Singaporean. B)

got to give this to you for able to keep this tank thriving. Congrats! :D

well,

mind running out your maintanence regime for your tank?

I believe there's more than that just meets the eye (:

OK had to keep it short, otherwise it will never end. haha...

I am using Bailing Method:

1) I had dkh problem. It drop from 8 or 9 to 6 dkh within a day. So i have about dose alkaline DAILY (180ml) for my 180 litres aquarium.

2) Magnesium (180ml) and calcium (240ml) every three day.

The result is dkh very stable. Only problem is always overdose of the calcium ( abt 500ppm). As for magnisium (abt 1500ppm). I am usinng salifet tester every 1 month. The livestocks and the coral seems doing well with this overdosing method which I been in this hoobby for 4 years ++.

As for the strongtium, iodine, amino acids, i dose them only if i can remember. But the crucial part of success will be the 3 main player of the reef- Calcium, magnesium, and dkh.

I see.

not bad :D

that's diligence that pays off well for you! :D

hmm about overdose,

perhaps small amount of water change can help you keep the parameters in check.

but nonetheless very good! :D

and err, remove the grape algae. spoils the aestheism of your tank :D

Ya i know but i suppose it might help to reduce NO3. I do keep water change weekly abt 15%.

ah I see.

weekly 15% not bad :D

anyway

are you running minimal equipments? do you have like a skimmer around?

Yes very lousy skimmer weipro haha... but sometimes lousy skimmer also work..haha. The rest of the equitment is just normal, 1 return, 1 chiller return, and 1 hydro K3.
