what are these things? are they harmful? how can i get rid of them?

they populate very fast, initially on my sand, now its everywhere

It can be worms. There's these worms which only appear in tanks with high nitrates or PO4 and they

sticks to glass. Can't exactly remember the name of the worms.

But those look fat like pods and with high PO4 he can't have corals already.All will melt after sometime if high PO4.

Those appear to be copepods. They're totally harmless, and provides a good source of natural food for fishes. Some fishes like mandarin fish specifically feed on them. I'm guessing that you tank doesn't have much fishes, hence the increase in population.
