Believe it or not...when i first saw this acan lord in our local LFS, it was not given much attention and was put with some live rocks and a huge echinophyllia.

I knew this is a gem man....and i will bring its colour back to GLORY. When i saw this at JM last month, i know what they r worth...and w/o hesitation, i got them at garage sale price....

Am I right, you're tank is sumpless/skimmerless and you're keeping acropora?

Yes...it's skimmless, sumpless...bottomless..haha..just joking...ya...i kept it for about a few days until one night i went to mendle with it and stressed it out real bad...so did not make it afterthat....hands itchy...learned my lesson.

Anyways...intend to go for 80% LPS...until i setup a sump beside my cabinet.

I see...I would have been interested to see the outcome :D

It's not only the cleanliness of the water which you can maintain with changing it regularly, but also the fluctuations of the water conditions. I find weekly change probably introduces more fluctuations in a system.

Actually u can try staghorn or digita montipora / branching montipora...they are not that difficult to maintain.

You can always start with a small one first like those you c in GO.

I changed water every 2-3 days 10% with distilled water and so far it has been beneficial to my corals.

But i need to introduce sump soon....coz i intend to increase my stocks...hehe...
