Hi Reefers,

I am a newbie. This is my tank after 5 months.

I am still in the process of adding new corals and improving whatever that needs to be done especially the lightning as i am adding more LPS.

Specifications

Tank: 2ft

Filteration: Atman External Cannister

Circulation: wavemaker 3000L/hr

Lighting: 2x H/O T5

Dosage: Seachem calcium and PH buffer, Reefmax trace elements, 2 little fishes concentrated strontium, AquaZ magnesium, Coralife Iodine

I am not using any protein skimmer. The reason is, I find it useless for a 2ft tank. I have used a weipro for past 4 months, decide to take it out.

I do 10% water change every 3-4days to maintain water parameters and reduce diatoms outbreak which i have to constantly battle.

Feel free to comment, positive or negative no problems. :thanks:

I have problem differentiating at first..i tot that was a prata also. But its actually a scolymia or acan maxima.

Quite hardy, you can get this baby. And it does not grow too big. Feeds when lights are out. I intend to collect a few of these coz they are harder to find than prata.

My nutrients level is >10ppm. Mushrooms and LPS love it, blooming n sprouting....but not suitable for SPS, definitely.

Will be adding a nano skimmer soon and more corals, of course. Waiting for payday this coming Sat. Can't wait to cheong down to GO.
