Via Aqua Multi skimmer

Hello everybody,

Discovered the Multi skimmer at Yishun Blk 618, THAT Aquarium selling at $99 (cheap??). Besides skimming, it also have UV light. The poly filter there also very cheap lei, 3 packs for $32 only.

That is very very cheap. I have seen the skimmer before $100 is for the no uv version, if it is with the uv confirm very cheap. On the down side, it is not bulky and the workmansip like not very good leh.

Wow..must make sure you off it when dosing phyto. If not besides your phyto being skimmed up, they will get killed by UV too.

Can anyone comments on the efficiency of the 5 watt compact PL ultraviolet sterilizer being use in the skimmer??

It all depends on the contact time the water has with the UV light.
