Tank Configuration - need advice

Which dimemsion is more suitable.

a) 4x2x2.5(H)

4x2.5x2(H)

c) 5x2x2

Plan to keep mainly FOWLR and some mushrooms and polyp, no SPS or LPS intended.

Lighting is only PL or T5, no chiller

DSB is around only 4inches, with 3ft sump, no refugirium.

Need senior advice on which option should be better, tnks.

Oh, yeah, intend to keep Tang too, YT, Naso (currently gotten), to add

PBrT or PBT, or even an AT.

It depends on your space constraint, your pocket budget, how much time you're willing to spend on maintenance and your personal experience in marine.

I personal prefer something manageable.

something like 4ft x 2ft x 2ft will do

how could u ever build a sump and not do up a refugium. just have a refugium, it would serve u well

it also depends on your space constraint.

too deep a tank will make it difficult for light to penetrate

to the bottom, so lighting will be a problem

if...no i should say WHEN you decide to keep corals

unless you choose the 2.5'' and have a DEEP sand bed...

tnks everybody, do keep your view coming in. Helping me in every bit of my decision. Yes, a 2.5H may pose a problem in cleaning as too deep, but also worried if only 2ft H, may not have enuff depth after a DSB of say 4-6inches. Give me your view, tnks.

2.5ft height lor. then after sand bed goes in, you'll have more than enough height clearence. (=

for me, i prefer 4 x 2.5 x 2, it will give u a cave effect if u have 2.5 width.......look better in this way....... , my personal opinion.
