Black clown pair fighting

hi, need some advise.

Just bought a pair of black clown, take five hours to climatise them, then release them into the tank ...

oh no ....they start to fight ....almosy 2 hour liao... is this normal? is it because of new environment or because of the short separation? will they pair back again?

both about 2 inch ..one slightly smaller ..

still fighting ..... like fighting fish ..bite and dun let go ...sian ...off the light to let them rest ...hopefully tomorrow things turn out fine....

still puzzle ...both live harmony when in the farm lay ... :(

you got from CF? When in a group, you got to observe quite to confirm which are the aggressive vs gentle one....but no guarantee....maybe you got 2 of the same sex....as long as the weaker one can pull through the whack....they will stay together.....all the best bro.

i didn't chose from the group .... i chose those that already pair up ...

will monitor closely today :(

i believe they wanna restablish their status to choose who is the more dominant one in their new environment.

it should subside in a while, however it will be good to closely monr them till the establishment is done =)

I got a pair of blackie.. Wen small they can swim together without any fight..but beware wen they grow older..They will tend to get into a fight..Dis is common..as 1 of them will turn to female..Its best to get atleast 5 blackie or false percula or skunk clown..but other species of clown 2 is enuff..True perc (maroon clown) is hard to buy more than 1..cos they are really highly territorial..If u must buy..pls buy only one..n make sure yur tank min 70gal..Or else otha fish will get stress.. Just my 1cent.. :angel:
