SRC Member piero Posted February 9, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted February 9, 2009 Hi Bro. Thanks for your sohal. Super nice and healthy and eating very well. Can I ask if you practise quarantine and get them feeding before you release to the big tank? Cos I notice a 2ft tank by the side of your main tank. Want to learn some pointers on keeping fish cos most of my time spent on SPS, hardly dabble with fish but that could change as I travel more often. Yes I do quarantine all new fishes and making sure they are already eating and ich free before releasing into the main tank. Some i quarantine for as long as 2 months, example is d AT, a real headache fish. Most important of all is to get healthy specimens from reputable sources, otherwise no matter how hard u quarantine oso useless cause the buggers won't be able to survive. Be wary of those super cheap good deals from LFS, I've learnt my lesson. So I don't mind paying slightly more for healthy fishes. It's more worthwhile in d long run. Bro free we go fish marketing together la........just gimme a ring..............happy reefing!
