T5 Light use? Frequency of change

How long to ya change the bulbs ?

Depending on the brand also. I used AquaZ for 3 months plus can see the lights are dimming and time to change. Can tell by looking at the tube...the extreme corners have dark spots...sign is time to change.

Hence, i will be changing to ATI and Giessmann...cost more but can last longer and more brighter.

Using ATI now, best color for me so far.

Gies aquablue is a bit too white, ATI aquablue has more blue casting a gentle blue over the tank.

Tink the replacement period should be cal based on the running time, as some tubes you will on earlier and some later.

Depends if you are using your T5 as main light source or just to supplement MH.

Ah siang, its okay lah.

Currently, using giesemann[blue ones] and a few cheapo china brand juz to compare the difference.

Thexder, if using T5 as main light source, i guess maybe 9-12 months to change?

Gonna spend $$$ again. maybe looking at ATI also... hmmm

Depends la... I'm using ATI... one of the tubes around 6mths spoil already

maybe i can contribute too, i'm using 8 t5s all ATIs, 1 year already, and colours are starting to get a little yellowish.. i will be changing them soon..

for me, i believe ATIs will last at least 1 year, and max of 1.5 years.. that is from my personal opinion and from what my SPS tell me..

I shall go for ATI light tube shopping then.
