haha z3 small not that nice want a convertible haha 6 series very nice

can attract thousands of "house flies" hahaha

so whats the dream car now sis? :eyebrow:

What u suggest is way out of our league. It may attract the "wrong" type of houseflies too.

Think my sis is more into something cute and affordable. Also, I don't think is good to turn up for work in a car more expensive than your boss's.

Which is one of the reason why we are considering the Copen.

Also, the Copen looks very different, therefore it is easy to spot in the carpark. She's a bit of a book worm, so a bit blur

ya I totally agree on this I don't think is good to turn up for work in a car more expensive than your boss's

haha the boss would be hmm :shock: maybe can see the peugeot 207cc almost the same as this daihatsu but much more eye attracting

since ur sis wants a copen/convertible the 207cc is just a perfect vehicle :eyebrow:

Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

1 vote to Copen. It also consumes less fuel with the tiny displacement. Safety-wise, at least it's better than a motorbike.

In a shoe-string? check out Picanto.

Thanks Bros for your input. :thanks:

Our biggest obstacle will still be getting approval from Dad. Sigh....

Think we'll probably test one out to get a feel of it when she gets back from the states. She'll probably need to take some lessons in parking and get used to right-hand drive.

obstacle b'cos Dad is the ultimate financial controller.

But if sis is paying from her own pocket, I'm sure she'll get it approved eventually, being the youngest, and if she's persistent enough. :eyebrow:

If there's no safety issue with the Copen, she'll probably get one.

:thanks:

  • 10 years later...

Hi, I have a Daihatsu Copen but having problem to retract the top. The motors are working but seems like not enough power. Can anyone recommend me a good workshop to have this checked and fixed. What would be the excepted cost to fix?

Thanks
Andy
