finally orange version of chyro ?

Amphiprion tricinctus, rare in the hobby as well. CF brought about 3-4 pcs in few months ago but all did'nt make it. These fish are real bad shippers. Price wise around just above 3 digits.

Always something more important than fish.

just above 3 digits sound ok for a rare fella.. tht is not found in nearby waters...

True, the price is considered reasonable considered their relative rarity. Then again most people will just think of them as expensive clarkii.

wow u ordered?

Yup. In my tank close to a month. Problem is they like to fight and my tank already have a pair of true percula and a pair of black clown. Both pair double the new clowns' size. Cannot release into main tank and thus in breeder box.

Hello ,

Where can I find the list below in Sg?

Amphiprion bicinctus

Amphiprion chrysopterus

Amphiprion latezonatus

Amphiprion bicinctus you can find WC from red sea shipments, CB only from ORA.

A. chrysopterus only usually found at Coralfarm, I have a stable male if you want to try out this fish. I am giving up trying to keep this fish alive.

A. latezonatus has not come to Sg for a long long time.

Bro, have u attempted breeding the A. chrysopterus with A. sandaracinos since their off spring might give u A. leucokranos?

Cheers

Hi Bro, if I had the tank space I would consider. Keeping A. chrysopterus alive is already a challenge. I have a stable male but I would be hunting for a stable female. I would like to pretty much breed A. chrysopterus if possible. The offspring are real beautiful, bright red with 3 white stripes. :eyebrow:

I believe for WC fish with ridiculously low survival rates, captive breeding is the only sustainable solution.

Coralfarm has a few pieces, all the way at the back row of tanks. Remember seeing some at Pinnacle as well.

Nice. From ORA shipment? :eyebrow: Those all look like grade A. Grade A as long as at least one bar joins to the other bar. If none of the bars join, they are grade B.

Thanks, yes they are from ORA. I got two picasso from LCK at $150 each and was trying to research if i got grade A or grade B clowns because it's quite cheap. The Japanese are paying abt S$500 for a grade A picassos. In the states grade A will also cost abt the same 150 but in US currency. So i guess we're getting grade A picasso at a better price here. :)

We get grade A and grade B at the same price too. Some grade Bs look great. I've got grade Bs that look way better than grade As.

Is this Latifasciatus or allardi w streamer?

Looks like an allardi with a streamer. It has 2 tell-tale signs of allardi. The base of the pectoral fins is black and the third stripe near the tail only runs halfway down the body and extends along the top of the tail fin.
