Got these accessories as well for my dosing setup .

Empty container with tube nicely done up from Madpetz, save you all the trouble looking for one and drilling the hole.

Yes restarted my tank one month ago lol ..

keke.. ok...

well Qiang has a point too.. your lighting also plays a part :P

I think the rocks probably leech lots of phosphate too.

My DI water - has zero (undetectable) PO4.

I mix the D&D salt mix and placed the rocks in.

The PO4 went up to 0.57 ppm..... after a couple of days.

Either the salt mix contains phosphate or the small handful of rock leeched them....

wonder what is your PO4 level :P

From the pics, the colours do not seem to fuse together. You can distinctly see the blue and white. Are they placed quite far apart?

In fact both the white and the blue is placed rather close together now. Maybe it is due to the camera, if i view it from the tank , the blue and white balance is ok. The royal blue look awesome especially in the night. It give a cosy look to your tank in the night haha..

Good thing about this light and the movalite rack, i could make any adjustment easily .

Yes i believe it is from this pcs of rock which i recently placed in. The rock was given to me from a FOWLR tank which had not performance a water change since months from a friend of mine, and once i started to put it in the hair algae start to bloom. As what you said, the rock should be straining alot of P04. I should wash it with fresh water and clean it up before putting in .

Now i think i may have to take the rock out for a brush tomorrow. dry.gif

In order to have higher chance of success in keeping the venatus angelfish, i have this as the first fish after my restart follow by the Starki damselfish and other fishes .

Dosing alone is difficult to maintain the 3 part, so i installed a small CR to compensate for the increase in Ca uptake.
