She dislike the helfrichi. Wants me to give it away!!!! She currently prefers the purple firefish.

Well all this could change the next day. she inherited my fickle mindedness...

Yes they do. you do see them splashing the sand even when they are not going to hide. nothing as serious as a jawfish or pistol shrimp though.

not sure about nudis. I do see them pecking on the rocks a lot.... could be eating pods.

u measure then tell yr wife she wants that size...and based on that kinda size...got to have a proper set-up...otherwise fish die...yr gal will be very sad...

Thanks Ketch! Yeah the wrasses are very nice and a good size for my tank.

Strange my wife never ask me how much my tank setup cost.

Think she close one eye... or maybe close 2 eyes....

Even now when I go and buy fishes back, she also nvr ask the cost.....

I think she feels that it is better I spend on this than other other stuff.

I saw the JBJ 6g but dun like it leh..... will trap a lot of heat.

I will go for a plastic tank, dymax clip on LED and the eheim liberty HOB filter.

now trying to find a chance to convey that to my wife.

Yesterday my wife asked my girl what she wanted for her birthday, my girl said "dun noe!!!!"

This morning I asked my girl what she wanted for her birthday and she said "fish tank!" ........ go figure!!

Went back at 6+ pm. both up and hunting around for pods.

the good news is that both are feeding on mysis.....

they are not keen on pellets.

looks like i have to stock up mysis liao.

what should i soak the mysis in to make it more nutritional for them?

Qian Hu got a few small and quite nice fish tanks but I dun think got red or pinky ones...

Take a voice recorder and record yourseld asking your gal what she wants for her birthday and play it back to your wife lor...

update in Livestock:

Helfrichi (since mid Mid Mar)

My firefish has suddenly turned very timid.

I seldom see it in the open now ever since the introduction of the FA.

Zoom out and back in a flash.

I have been flooding the tank just to ensure that the food floats near his vicinity.

Flame Angel (since mid April)

Not feeding pellets. only takes in frozen.

Looking healthy and gradually putting on weight

2x Splendid Leopard Wrasse (Since end Apr)

So far so good. Wakes up at 10 am and goes to bed at 12 midnight

only feeding on mysis.

two of them always hang out together. real cute.

The tailspot blenny & the yellow gang (Yellow Tang, Yellow Wrasse, Yellow Clown Goby) are still doing good.

Will probably add more fishes 2 weeks later and likely to get Henry's reef gourmet as their main diet.

Hey Peter, I realised my zoas polyps are much larger than Cedric's.

Example the sunflower zoas.

mine is like 3 - 4 times larger than his. could this be due to the multiple additives that I have been pouring into the tank?
