After 2 weeks of cycling now going thru the algea process. any idea how to speed up this process?

Added a new mate for my female true prec on my 28g .

And my 28g is still having red slime problem. Help..... How to solve this problem.

What is your PO4 level?

6.5 * 2 * 2 + 3.75 * 1.5 *1.5,(Decomn on 14/9/08)
4*2*2 + 2.5*1.25*1.25 (Decomn on 1/8/09)

if your po4 is zero, red slime growth should at least be retarded? perhaps you can try sucking out all the visible slime, and watch out for any regrowth which shouldn't happen.

hmm thats what iam afraid off.. i need to remove the rocks and give it a good scrub! headache..

Finally some updates..

Did some mods to my leds now i have 50% Blue 50% White. should have gone for more blue... hmm..

also change my dosing to 2 part. found it easier to control.

SPS seems to be doing well its been a month or so since the addition of some sps frags no visible color lost also observe better polyp extension compare to the last try.

been changing 20plus % of water weekly.

also my battle with red slime algae has shown result, i have no more red slime algea however i do have alot of red hairy algea all over my LRs any idea why and how to get rid of them?

you will find that is obvious from my pics..
