wts old model modded reef octopus skimmer

Hi,

It is with great despair to me and my wallet but i have to let go my reef octopus skimmer.

i think its the dnw 110 recirculating series.

I have made modifications to it you can go reefcentral to see what sort of mods can be made.

---Drilled a bigger venturi for more air intake

---enkemat mesh added to needlewheel

It can be an insump or outsump skimmer but it's leaking a little at the joints and i have no space in my sump for it.

I would only recommend it to be used insump now and you would have to be mindful of the inflow as the bubbling in it is tremendous.

Here are some pics. I would post a video tomorrow on its operation.

i got it from another reefer who flew it in from the states.

have a huge huge piece right now. wanna buy or trade it with corals?
