It is not actually they did it purposely.. Sometimes, it is becos the coral are collected bleached and some are just left in the tank with poor lighting untill they bleached..

Green Neon Leather is very rare and quite nice looking...

Its not the LFS fault, its the supplier from overseas. They will at times bleach anemones, gonopora, mushrooms and other corals that can be bleached to give it a more exotic appearance.

Also do watch out for dyed corals especially anemones

oooooo, bleach zoas, :chair: me experimenting them in diff tank(normal & cheap zoas)

hmmm, mostly turns out to b either slightly transparent, some become skinny n tall or smaller polyps

cos used diff lighting n nutrient,

actually too lazy to decom small tank :chair::chair: so throw in some comon zoas to c how :ph34r::ph34r::ph34r:

Sounds exciting. With the blue light on it should show some

psychedelic colors. So how long did u leave them in low light?

Can they get back normal color once u give them normal light?

Now u got something exciting going, don't have to decom hehe!!

haha, they bin in my torture bout a month le,oni got a tube of t5(blue) bout 3-4hrs, wun die but livivg in pain :(

den din give it much care, still alive but tink really gotta decom dat tank le

some updates: the importers of these white leather corals says the color is natural. some come as part brown n part white, n some are white. he has 2 white pieces in his show tank that are completely white n has been there for 2 months.

so........tempted to buy a white one but couldnt find any.......
