2 x Dymax W-7 cooling fan system (reduce temp from 29.5 to 27.5)

No sand bed

1 x Aqua Zonic super slim LED (32W + 8B) - changing to Aqua zonic T5 soon.

3kg liferock

Future LS:

2x Orange clown

1x Fire Goby

1x sexy prawn

1x Koran

And some soft coral.. any advise?? (with temp lowest @ 27.5deg)

Intent to top up water daily and WC once every 1~2 week. That is all....

I am trying to find a SMALL enough hang-on protein skimmer but cant find. Any advise from bros here?

yes your 1 feet cube is too small for tangs or korans.. both will outgrow your tank... only small fish like firefish, gobies and blennies will not outgrow your 1 footer cube.

hang on skimmer, how about the Red Sea prizm skimmer. :)

Cheers, ;)

Red sea prizm skimmer looks good. But looks abit too big for 1ft SQ tank. :ThanxSmiley:

Will try to source for it.

Aiyooo...1 ft cube no need to waste $ on skimmer lah. Just do WC regularly will do.

Haha... this reply from you made my day!! :ThanxSmiley:

Will try to make do without it.

Few years back, i tried a 3ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft FOWLR tank for 2 years without chiller. But i have a Skimmer.

Now, doing this 1ft cube. Will try without skimmer....

If you want sexies, make sure there're no hitch hiker crabs or worms. Otherwise, sexies will MIA 1-by-1. For 3 years, I didn't know I've a worm until I put my sexies in. :chair:

Something like below pic. It's always in hiding & not easy to spot. If you have critters like that in your tank, the shrimps will always be under threat. Try to get rid of them 1st.

will be good if it's only staying in a smaller rock, then can easily take it out. last week i saw one crawling out of my super suns and spraying out some sort of mily substance(?), quite a lot. so i took out that piece, let it sit a while out of the water, then 3 came out (a 3-in, 2-in, and one 0.5-in) ... for now, i "quarantined" them first, still wondering whether to dispose of them or not ...
