  1. Thanks bro. Why you all always see but I never see when I visit any of the LFS? U all so heng.
  2. G3 is definitely a good buy. I saw a lot of good reviews in ReefCentral. Initially, I tot it is suitable for 120 gallons, upon scanning through about 40 pages, it seems that 180 gallons is a more appropriate size. Too bad my sump is a bit too small.
  3. Anyone using this? How easy is it to get a replacement needle wheel impeller?
  4. I understand how you feel bro. What I did during my last water change was to use a long hose which runs from my tank to the bathroom. I use a pump to pump water directly out from the tank into the toilet bowl. I also have a big container in the bathroom (about 60l) used for mixing the saltwater water. I intend to use the same pump to pump water back from the bathroom back to the main tank but the stupid Rio that I bought (rated 3000+) cant even fill the hose with water. I had to carry the water to the tank bucket by bucket. I am going to get a better pump for my next water change.
  5. Dear all, I have been reading on ReefCentral about the ASM G3 Skimmer. There is a club for it there. keke The general comments is that even though the skimmer is rated by ASM to be good for 200 gallons. It is only good for 120 gallons. My personal opinion is if it is good for only good for 120 gallons, I might be better off going for H & S's 400L because the pump only uses 18W compared to the 50W used by the ASM needle wheel pump. Any comments from the ASM users? Thank you.
  6. Dear all, I have looking for second hand of the above mentioned. Please let me know if you are selling. regards
  7. Ok lah. Next time u sell your Golden. Let me know first hor??
  8. Walau! Vincent spolit market. The fish no reef safe lah. Later eat your $100+ prata. dradttg $105.
  9. Aiyo, what role model?? Old man liao - Short sighted - Short tempered Only something long ....winded lah. Next time must wear spectacle before reading pm liao.
  10. Yep. This is much better. The access points I have seen still required wired connection.
  11. Need to turn off the pump. Otherwise, u will have water all over the place. It like try to put a upside down cup into a tank of water, there will be trapped air. The way to let the air out is to turn the cup slightly. So you should do the same thing for the pump.
  12. 15m is a bit too far. You will need to set up at least one access point to shorten the distance.
  13. From Western shore....?? Personally, I like MGS too. Their gals are more friendly. In general, I find that gals from all gals school are more friendly and treat every one like buddy buddy. Those that come from mixed school, talk to them only they think you interested in them.
  14. Hi Jem, I am sorry. I have mistake you for someone else.... Please Read.
  15. I would like to apologize to Jem for my posting in this. I have mistaken him for another student whose pms to me came about the same time as Jem's. I have looked at the pms again and realised my mistake. I was quite pissed with the other guy because he was very rude. There was no hi, thank you, can you, please in his pm. Even if he can afford to pay also cannot be that rude. First pm: How much you selling? Second pm: Weight of LR? Third pm: Best price? Third pm: What is the lowest? .... Finally, I quoted $60. In my original post, I quoted $100 for > 50 kg of LR. I was willing to let go at $60 because I know I will be away for a few days. Then, that guy claimed to be a poor student and offered $40. In the first place, he should have just told me how much he can afford to pay rather than try to half my final price.
  16. How big is your tank? I have a lemon peel and as per mentioned in liveaquaria.com, it is really quite aggressive. I saw it chasing my other drawf angel. My tank is 5 ft. Hence, it is still ok. Maybe you should let your flame angel settle in a bit more before adding a lemon peel.
  17. I am using the 820. My knob is tighten. However, I dont think it has anything to do with the knob. For the pump to take in air, the air hose must be connected. Try moving your pump upside down to remove any trapped air that is still in the pump. regards
  18. Dear all, Has anyone tried feeding the ozonizer using the Venturi air intake rather than the usual John fit?? Any problems encountered? Thank you.
  19. U know what I mean.... Just come out and offer what you can afford or is willing to pay.... rather than wasting people's time by using the "I am a poor student" line. If you cant even afford to pay $60 for > 50 kg of LR, how can u afford a 0.5HP chiller?
  20. Bro. I dont think he will be willing to sell for $40.
  21. I have received a lot of pms recently regarding the pumps. A few asking me if they can bring the pumps down to Aquamart for inspection before buying. I have decided to do everyone a favor, including myself, by getting off my fat ###### and bringing the pumps down to Aquamart for inspection. For all bros who pm me, thank you for the interest and sorry for the inconvenience caused. I will restart another thread either when I get a confirmed repair cost or sell repaired pumps. This thread is now closed.
  22. Can hear sound but no water is suck in and push out lor.
