  1. +1 to Ahsiang. RSM is really quite restrictive.. especially come to lighting/sump etc..
  2. Amused, for your tank size, AT is possible, but you probably want to add in last..
  3. haha... CLee, 旧的不去,新的不來! Maybe will drop by and take a look if Wilson gives us a lift
  4. The SPS looks good.. you also stock up the SPS damn fast lor
  5. Why are you decomming, Clee? You selling everything ah?
  6. Ming Yang RBTA usually needs light but don't need very strong light.. It will usually comes out after a while, it will start shifting to a spot where it's comfortable, both in terms of lighting and flow.
  7. Dr Ang, when you free? Maybe go over your place for therapy..
  8. yup, Tangs are one of my fav but keeping them ich-free and survive well is a challenge esp for the powders and AT.
  9. Well said digiman. I think tomini tang is one of the best for algae control but not very nice... Can consider kole
  10. haha... kanna SPS poison ah... Have you visit Dr Ang b4?
  11. this should be the controllable model iirc.. hence LCK sells it as a set, one controller with 2 wm.
  12. Amused, for your tank size, you can prob keep 3-4 tangs.. as long as you don't get too big specimen. Sohal may be too big for you. Tangs are suspectible to ich.. can;t help it most of the time. You do need to plan carefully what you intend to keep and add the most aggressive fish last. Anthias are good choice for schooling fishes.. so are chromis (but chromis usually not as nice but cheap. Also very greedy and will eat all your food before it reaches others.). As Iggy has mentioned, you can go CF or LCK for fishes... if you going other places.. can check with desi. We going Pasir Ris later, prob around noon.
  13. From what i read and heard from fellow reefers, Potteri is one of the more challenging dwarf angels. Success rate is esp low if you get a fairly large specimen.. 2-3 inches.
  14. Amused, u can try use those rubber mat (non-slip) or go to CR and if they can sell you the black mat they use for our tank... alternative, you can cut a styloform sheet also.
  15. hehe.. Jervis quit long ago... he's now fully focus on photography
  16. jetski... how's your tank now? Maybe will drop by and visit you one of these days
  17. u need to check with them as size, material, laminate all makes a difference, ask them for a quote.
  18. too bad not free on those days... good luck for the sale!
  19. change so often... go work for LFS la..
  20. Use saltmix is better, the water quality is better, the parameters more consistent also. Not to mention, you save a trip to the farms just for water if you are not keen on going there.
  21. 1 month and the tank still not done? I think it must be very stressful for you and your family... I think you should share your experience and what difficulties you have faced. Good luck and look forward to seeing the finished tank! On a brighter note, any thoughts of what to stock?
  22. how do you define brighter... visually or based on lumens?
  23. u can get it from madpetz... very cool moonlight:P
