Just KPO KPO a bit. Personally, I don't find Milky san is been too much in his queries. And it sound reasonable for a consumer to know more, in order to appreciate the product better. On the other hand, felt that Aquaz has no patience in doing business. Perhaps he could just answer Milky san more professionally and promptly. Things that are secret for the company, then just point them out straight, the consumer should understand it, which should not end the whole thing like that. It's just like u go to a shop and buy something, wishing to find out more about the product, insteads the salesman just give a cold shoulder. Ha, ha, me too only 2 months experience, but r pumped by Masters here. If u only keep fish, then 30 degree is sure alright, hence chiller is not a must. My temp exceed 32, and they still behave the same and eat well. For fish only, perhaps, u only need to concentrate on their health and the water quality. If water really get too hot in those very hot days, just off the lights, and they will still very happy. What hydrometer did u use? I'm using the Coralife deep six. Seems not very sensitive to temp. Also, if fish only the SG range can also be quite wide too. So, dun worry. Just talk to your fishes everyday, if they r happy, then it's ok. Cheers!

I just came back from CF at LCK Lane 6. They got so many Macro Algae there!!! $6++ for 1 big bush. Unfortunate it was a very very long drive. Because there was an accident along LCK road just 1-2km after Ama Keng and the TP closed the whole stretch of LCK from there onwards. Then, I realised that there is actually only 1 way through, the other would be to make 1 big round back from CCK way to Neo Tiew Drive!!! No choice, still have to U turn back. TP told me to keep my "30 minutes time of travel to there" story and turn back. SOB SOB...petrol not cheap... Cheers!

Sorry bros, beginner like me really could not understand. Isn't it a must that we should remove those dead fishes? And also find the cause of death? U mean we can happily just let it MIA and presume that they are dead, then just add some more to replace and not even bothering about what actually happened to them? Ok the rule is as such. U can mod anything but if your mod causes something to fail, then the warranty will void for the affected part only. Have been serviced by Tan Chong for so almost 7 years liao. So far I think they didn't change this rules. Also, if your cars maintenance/servicing are done by them from start till now. They will be happy to replace anything for u FOC if the part is not known for wear n tear, or damaged. But my experience to share in regards to those "fuel saving" gadgets. They do show improvement in the beginning, but once the ECU plus the driver adapted/get use to the changes, sooner the effect will lost. Cheers!

To what I know, not quite true on the energy wasting part in regards to the numbers of kick ON/OFF. Especially for reactive load like motor and compressor. Or maybe I'm wrong, but nevermind. As mentioned, I used to tune the flow to about 30%+ less with the 1250. And yesterday, I open it full to see the effect. Seems that the chiller ON lesser. Will observe and see. Hence, I believe there must be an optimum setting, but must play around and fine tune just like the skimmer. Cheers!

Really not an expert, but just share experience for your reference to compare. Could 2280L/H through the chiller too high flow? As such the chiller should ON for a longer time till it reach its preset temp. Urs is ON-3/4min, OFF-10min. Sound OK. Perhaps your tanks ambient Temp is quite high. Have u ever measured the tank temp without chiller, just for reference? Of course, not now with all the coral in. Just share with u how my chiller response. My tank temp w/o chiller is 32-33 with all lights/pumps ON. Chiller Cal temp (press and hold the SET button for seconds) = 0 Chiller Preset temp = 27 Limiting the 1200L/H pump to about 30-50% at inlet to pump Tank temp locked at 27.5 Chiller cycle:- OFF at 27 (chiller readout) Rise guadually to 29 (chiller readout) for a period of 15-20min ON at 29 (chiller readout) Cool till 27 (chiller readout) for a period of about 3min As stated, thoughout the chiller cycle, the tank readout is locked at 27.5. I also wondering how did the Chiller sense that changes of 2degree, where keeping the tank locked at 27.5. Could the rise contributed by the pump? From you description, it seems that you set chiller to 25. But is your cal temp set at 0? This will bring the chiller temp close to the tank. Nevertheless, your chiller seems working just like mine.(Ha, ha if both of us sound similar then it should be ok, I guess) So dun worry. The fluctuation seems to be the norm of how the chiller operates for it to ON/OFF. As long as your tank temp locked at the desire temp, then everything should be fine, and the chiller should say to have up to specs. Ultimately, the job of the chiller is to maintain your tank temp, isn't it? Perhaps, IMHO u should worry if the tank temp fluctuates, or the chiller ON forever, but tank temp is as high.
