Cynaide? Keen to tell me more? It's been a few months now since it's feeding. What are the effects of cynaide to a fish if they were caught using cynaide? How to tell and how long until the effect of cynaide become lethal to fish health?

Forgot to add... I feed Nori sheet, frozen mysis and BS soaked with garlic guard as well as cyclopeeze once or twice a day.

As I was feeding my tank as usual today after work, I just realise that my Naso ###### has suddenly become very skinny. As of today, I can see the belly has retracted inside and the ###### looks dull and skinny? It's not feeding anymore today. I had this fish since August '04. It's a nice fish which has been feeding very well and active until i go to sleep yesterday night. I don't look at it this morning. What could be the problem of such a drastic change, the rest of the fishes is still doing well. Other inhabitants including Sailfin, Rabbitfish, 5 x Anthias, 1 x purple dartfish, 1 normal Naso, 1 cleaner wrasse, 1 x cleaner shrimp.

Check with iwarna, maybe they still got some small size purple and yellow tang left from last friday shipment.

The one with 2 spot in the tail? Is it? Ctenochaetus binotatus Twospot surgeonfish ?

I did inpect all my LR before I put it in. All big size rock and did remove quite a lot of crab and worm. I didn't blast hole with tap water or pour hot water like some other reefer do. Just manually.

Shoelevy, I saw the same crab that you caught in my tank a few days ago..... a bit hard to remove the LR cos i have corals on that particular LR. There's a few crab in my tank. Will try djviper method to remove them... or the other crab trap.

Have use the following epoxy before Aquamedic - good but a bit pricy Shelley - harden very fast and release lot's of heat Tunze - good and affordable Have not tried any other brand so far.

Bought this fish from SL. Ich Free and feeding pellet, nori, brine and mysis. This guy has put on some weight. As I need to let this fish go ASAP. Selling the above for $10.

IMO adding cured LR or LR from another reefer tank with be better. If no choice but to add fresh one, your skimmer may eventually it will help pull out the die-off in the form of DOM. Of course there will be a sudden increase in unwanted nutrients in your water.

I got my zoo opened up after 1 hour introducing it in my tank. A week later, I noticed the zoo polyps all closed and close up I see it got irritated by lot's of nudi on the polyps. Prepared a bucket of freshwater (RO/DI) and dip it for 5 minutes, and can see lot's of debri in the bucket later. Looks like all nudi is dead. So far, all zoo is doing fine. Lighting is 2 x 250W. Placement is on the sand. Thanks.

Check with EAN...... they might have.... I have no success in keeping purple queen.

Sugi, Did u tee off your MD-55? I have change my Weipro-9000 to MD-55 on my EV-240 cos the Weipro has not enough power to punch thru the water. Has been getting good dark Kopi-0 kau. I did my maintainance last week, 10% water change and cleaning the skimmer chamber, skimmers start to overflows with very light colors water (about 2 litres) after it break in again after 24hours. Anyone can advise why? From my observation, this is a very sensitive skimmers. Any changes u make in the tank, height of bubbles in the chambers drop.
