hi, has any bro ever feed live worm to clown triggerfish ?
-
Recently I bought my first clown triggerfish. The same happened, it went into hiding and remained almost motionless for 3 days, without eating. Initially I thought it will not make it but it survived and came out of hiding. Yes, it does eat quite alot. Accordingly to bro Jameshong, he experienced 12 days without food for his clown triggerfish. My clown triggerfish survived and is now my display fish, kept with a snow flake eel and a starfish.

Just for info, the clown triggerfish was bought on 9 August and introduce into tank. The 1st 2 day it was swimming around, then went into hiding after 3rd day and came out after 3 days. It is now one week on the tank and eating any of these ~ pellets, flakes, Mysis shrimp, dried shrimp. -

I had thought the clown triggerfish will not survive but today morning, the clown triggerfish finally came out of hiding. The belly is so thin as it had not eaten since 12 August. -

Had noticed the clown triggerfish often hide in cave. I thought it was not feeling well. Size of triggerfish is about 4". Any bro had same behavior of the clown triggerfish. -

bro, do concur with Endorrachua comment on the power points - raise higher and/or have it protected against "water spillage"; just a suggestion for safety reason. -

RE: bringing in fish from overseas.

About bringing in fish from Jakarta it depend on luck. If officer is kind, you may past through but on the other hand, just like bro Kakani said they ask for big ang bao (many times more than the cost of fish if buy in Singapore). In this case give the fish to the officer, hehe... -

Let me just add in a statement, iodide or iodine is more for shrimp whereby they outgrow and have to get the new shell harden quickly as they shred their old shell. any comment on the above statement, is welcome

would like to have 2, if other bro had requested; my mobile 82218057 as at present there is only a wrasse in my 3 ft tank and i have run it in this condition for about a month, with DSB. TLC applied.

it would be advisable to keep water in good condition - do a partial water change, maintain pH, dHK value, and occasionally add trace element. Aldo maintain water temperature below 28 degree C. I know the above is basic but it would help.
