  6. of cos...that's a BK for goodness sake...its a superb skimmer!!!
  7. i agree with reefaholic... any drastic change in the chemistry will affect corals, esp sps... at least this shows one very important thing "PUREPHOS WORKS!!"
  8. for rio pumps, it is usable...but for how long, no one knows yet...rio pumps are not meant for high pressure stuffs...it might spoilt in the long run... the stronger the pump the better the performance..if u are not gonna place the skimmer very far away from the sump and pump, i suggest md40 will be sufficient...cheaper and lesser power consumption...if u want better performance go for the md55...u want subperb performance go for mx70 or even 100...but i'm not sure if the skimmer can handle the turbulence...too much turbulence, your skimmer will not work efficiently as well...
  9. hhhmmm...i thought Ian's reactor suppose to be spun instead of plumb?? not too sure myself...saw it in the website...and always thought that the user suppose to spin the reactor...

  16. agreed..if u feel that wessbond is good enough and save u money, go ahead...but not too sure if they give the assuranace that it can be used for reef aquarium purpose..at least aquaz is an aquarium product..
  17. from wat i've learnt, the pump need to be lift up to perform better...try not to leave it on the sump base, elevate the pump to about half the sump water level...
