  1. Looking good bro! Congrats on yr new tanks. I agree with andtsg, one week is a bit short for a cycle. Especially so if you intend to add sensitive creatures like shrimp. My sexy shrimp will stay ard the coral they prefer but they will also wander off in search of food. My clown doesn't bother them though.
  2. Thank you.... here's the lastest pic... think there's still space on top for some sps, and some gaps to place some more lps... but yes, its getting a bit crowded This was with Blue 100% and White 60%

  8. New addition: tiny green banded goby, currently hanging out in my satellite breeding box... has to get bigger before it goes into DT, else it might become food for the others
  9. new 6 line wrasse? very cute... Is that your nano fowlr?
  10. Hey bro, as in your photo quality? If you're using tapatalk, I think it downsizes the photo image, so you might lose a bit of resolution. Can try uploading to photobucket and linking it instead.
  11. Looks promising, what are you feeding them with?
  12. Thanks bro! Yes, I should try shooting a video one day... haven't really tried yet.
  13. The invertebrate series... Pompom crab, very shy and elusive. Hard to get a good shot of her. You can see that she's berried Hermit crab Will post some pics of my sexy shrimp next...

  18. Hello there, welcome to this addictive hobby. Please allow this humble newbie to try to answer your question because I can't stand the silence. Maybe the sifus here will chip in later. Option A, I guess would be a cube tank with your existing HOF. Pros: its the cheapest option. Cons: you won't have anywhere to hide your equipment should you decide to add in things like a skimmer, auto top-off, reactors... Option B, the IOS tank. Pros: you can hide all the stuff. Cons: bit more expensive than a simple cube tank unless you're getting those nice ADA ones. Looks like your veering towards a nano fowlr (fish only with live rock) set-up? Maybe you can add some hardy soft corals later, like mushrooms and leathers. You can go check out some nice nano set-ups at LFS like aquamarin, ah beng. Then decide on your tank, get some live rock/sand. Get a hydrometer, mix your salt and distilled water and you're good to go. You may not need a skimmer if your load is low and you change water regularly. You can use fans to keep the temp down. But remember to let the tank cycle properly before your add anything. I made the mistake of stocking too fast. Cheers and good luck with your tank
